sims stuff!

my mods list

i had 14gb of mods on my sims 4 game. i have 5gb on my sims 3 game now - here i will review and showcase my favorites!

installing mods (sims 4 tips)

if you dont know how to get mods, you should definetly take the time to figure it out. its very simple and there are many youtube tutorials. ive never gotten a single virus from downloading mods (that i know of). just be careful of ad.fly links!

i also think if you download mods you NEED to organize them folders

i know that it can seem daunting, especially if you've never modded a game before. go slowly! dont download many at once.

there are days after certain patches that i would spend HOURS trying to fix my mod-infested broken save file. you should backup your save files before every update! dont be like me lmao.

installing mods (sims 3 tips)

slightly more complicated, but nothing you cant handle if you have modded ts4 before. honestly, its easier because there are no out of date mods for the sims 3; theres no updates!

the best tutorial is here. follow it carefully! and when u are downloading the framework, you have to right click the download button and save as for some reason. old forum logic i guess.

i dont mod sims 3 heavily like i did with the sims 4. the vanilla gameplay has kept me hooked for 370 hrs and counting. almost all the mods are small. but i do spend a lot of time optimizing this game. the sims 3 modding community is still active and keeps coming out with great tools for making your game run really good on modern pc setups.
